How it works

From the front desk to the station.

One check-in, recorded once, seen by the people who need it. Here is the whole journey, step by step.

  1. Property

    Sign up and get verified

The property registers with its address and map location. The police review the registration and mark the property as verified.

  2. Front desk

    Check guests in

Staff enter the booking, then capture each guest's photo and the front and back of their ID with the device camera.

  3. Safe CheckIn

    Record and protect

The check-in is saved once. Photos and ID scans are kept for police eyes only, and the front desk sees masked ID numbers.

  4. Police

    See it on the dashboard

Officers see the property on their jurisdiction map and its guests in their reports, and can open photos and IDs when needed.

  5. Front desk

    Raise a concern

If something is wrong, staff send an alert with a type and priority, and can share supporting files as evidence.

  6. Police

    Act and close

Officers acknowledge the alert, work it through to resolution, verify suspects and approve or reject the evidence.

Something else on your mind? Ask us

Which ID documents can guests use?

Passport, National ID, Driver's licence, Voter ID, or another document chosen as "Other".

Can the front desk look at a guest's photo or ID after check-in?

No. Photos and ID scans are only viewable from the police dashboard, and ID numbers are shown masked in the partner app.

Are the photos kept on the front-desk device?

No. The app clears the captured photos from the device as soon as the check-in has been saved.

What happens if a guest leaves without checking out?

Every hour, Safe CheckIn checks out any guest whose check-out date has passed. Flagged guests keep their flag, so the police record stays intact.

What does the SafeAI assistant do?

It answers questions about your records in plain English, in both the partner app and the police dashboard. It cannot see guest photos or ID scans.

What do I need to use Safe CheckIn?

A device with a web browser and a camera for the front desk, and a computer with a web browser for the police dashboard.
